“Leathercraft is disappearing in the UK, but we believe making should be as easy and joyful as
enjoying a croissant. With Project Croissant, we’re removing barriers and making craftsmanship something everyone can experience” – Nosa Osadolor, Creative Director, Nosakhari.
Nosakhari unveils Project Croissant, a bold initiative designed to reverse the decline of Britain’s
leather-craft industry and make the art of making as effortless, joyful, and widely accessible as enjoying a croissant. Launched through Artisans.Life, Nosakhari’s educational platform, Project Croissant removes barriers to entry, reduces costs, and makes leather-craft more approachable than ever. With skilled artisans leaving the industry at an alarming rate, this initiative provides a new way for people – especially younger generations – to explore craftsmanship without significant upfront investment. At the heart of Project Croissant are four DIY bag-making kits, thoughtfully designed by the Nosakhari team for beginners and experienced creatives alike. These kits offer a simple, engaging way to learn, gift, and experience the joy of making something from scratch. But Project Croissant is more than just a series of DIY kits it’s a call to action to reverse the decline of leather-craft talent in the UK and inspire a new generation of makers to embrace craftsmanship.
