A Djembe Story – Chapter 1: London

Our “A Djembe Story” Launch event was held at an immersive showcase venue on Mackintosh Lane, Hackney.

Amongst the exclusive performance by the London African Drumming consortium was the subtle unfurling of the Mini Djembe Bag — the first from the NOSAKHARI Djembe range.

Performances during the event were tailored to the occasion from musicians, singers, dancers and storytellers, whose collective passion and aim is centred around the preservation of the art of Western African drumming.

The event celebrated the symbolism of the Djembe. An ancient iPhone of its age, its
symbolic resonance endures as a beacon, reminding us all to live our own versions of “A Djembe Story”

Accompanied by the eclectic welcoming music by Louis Sheridan of Mr &
Mrs Smith and art curator and collector, DJ Eres, close friends and the Nosakhari family participated in the celestial and immersive launch of “A DJEMBE STORY”
