Designer and artist Fola Adeleke joins Nosakhari as Resident Art Director for a six-month creative residency beginning October 2026.
Working across fashion, art and visual storytelling, Adeleke’s practice explores identity, cultural memory and African heritage. His background includes serving as Lead Designer at Daily Paper, alongside an independent practice spanning collage, digital media and mixed-media work.
During the residency, Adeleke will work closely with the Nosakhari team across campaigns, image-making, product storytelling and creative experimentation, developing new ways of expressing the ideas and narratives that surround the objects the brand creates.
The appointment comes as Nosakhari continues to expand its world beyond the product itself. Following the brand’s move into travel, the residency will explore themes of movement, place, people and cultural exchange – building a richer visual and narrative language around where Nosakhari is going next.
“The product has always been the starting point for Nosakhari, but there is a much bigger world around it that we want to explore,” says Nosa Osadolor, Founder and Creative Director of Nosakhari. “Fola has a strong point of view and a natural instinct for storytelling. This residency gives us the space to explore that world with greater intention and to see what can emerge from working together over time.”
“Nosakhari already has a distinct identity,” says Adeleke. “What excites me is the opportunity to build on that – creating imagery and stories that connect the objects to culture, movement and place, while opening up new ways for people to experience the brand.”
Across the next six months, the residency will unfold through campaigns, image-making, creative experiments and collaborative projects developed alongside the wider Nosakhari team.
