RAPT | Official Selection @ Nosakhari Film Festival 2025
Rapt takes us on a journey to the floating village of Makoko, Nigeria – known as The Venice of Africa – where a pregnant woman journeys home by canoe to give birth surrounded by loved ones. Along the way, glimpses of daily life unfold: children at play, families at work, and the striking yet unforgiving environment they call home. In Makoko, canoes are more than vessels — they are modes of transport, walkways, shopfronts, sources of sustenance, and spaces for community.
