Afflatus: Able | Premiered @ Nosakhari Film Festival

A compelling retelling of an often forgotten but deeply inspiring story from the 1968 Olympics – John Stephen Akhwari’s race. Akhwari’s unyielding spirit and tenacity in the face of adversity has inspired generations. His story and words, “My country did not send me 5,000 miles to start the race, they sent me 5,000 miles to finish the race,” still resonate 55 years later.
